Many years ago, I came across an ancient system called the Destiny Cards on a website. It matched each birth date to a card from the common deck of the playing cards. I put in my birth date, and what I read then about my birth card struck a deep chord with me. It was true about me to the core, a truth so deep that I was not even aware of until then.

 

I went on to learn as much as I could about this system, and it has been a faithful and honest companion and guide in my life since. It has elements of both astrology and numerology, since it works with the planetary influences as well as the symbolism of numbers. Unlike astrology, however, one does not need the birth time to do Destiny Cards readings, unless a person is born close to midnight, in which case we would need the birth time and place to determine if he/she might have been born on the previous day due to daylight savings time. I love that it is strictly mathematical, with yearly spreads calculated mathematically without any play by chance. It has given me knowledge about myself that no counsellor can give; it reminds me that life unfolds in 7-year and 13-year cycles, and gives a blueprint of the energies at play in each year of my biography before I live it. I cannot count the number of times I retrospectively found the significant events and people in my life written in the yearly card spreads. It has given me profound insight into my close relationships and the unconscious patterns that are a hindrance to true peace and happiness.

 

Recently, after many years of using this Destiny Card system leisurely, I took the leap and started the year-long Magi Certification Training under the auspices of O.O.M. Robert Lee Camp, to become skilled in using the Destiny Cards to help others navigate and transform their lives. I hope you find it as illuminating and transformative as it has been for me!
